Unfortunately, City Illustrated is currently only a concept website, and was developed for the MSc in Interactive Digital Media from Griffith College by Sophie Bonheim. I hope you enjoy the guide to Florence all the same.

City Illustrated collaborates with artists from all over the world, supporting them to illustrate what makes their city unique. In the process, we hope to give you a fun way of researching your next travel destination, its culture, art, and architecture, as a local sees it!

City Illustrated is built on the belief that if you combine design, technology, and information, learning never has to be boring.
City Illustrated has been built with everyone in mind. We don’t want anyone to miss out! However, we know we can always do better. If you spot something we can improve on, please let us know.
City Illustrated wants to offer an alternative to text-heavy travel sites that are commercial first and informative second. That’s why City Illustrated doesn’t have pop-ups, spammy emails, or one million external links prompting you to buy. We actually want to provide you with the information.
